Zenless Zone Zero Element Tier List
Before we rank each Element, let me quickly explain what they are. Elements are also known as Attributes, and each character is assigned one Element, which gives them unique and special skills when levelled up. When you inflict elemental damage on an opponent, your Anomaly Buildup will start to increase. Once it reaches the max, the Attribute Anomaly will apply a debuff to the target.
Now, let’s see what Elements and debuffs are the best, as well as which element each character has.
S-Tier
The best elements in the game!
- Ice (Freeze) – Stops targets from moving for a short amount of time. It will then create a Shatter effect that deals Ice damage to opponents when the targets start to move again.
- (Frostbite) – Reduce the target’s Ice Damage Resistance for a small amount of time.
- Characters with this element: Hoshimi Miyabi, Soukaku, Von Lycaon, and Ellen Joe
A-Tier
If you can’t get your hands on S-Tier characters, don’t worry! These are still great.
- Electric (Shock) – Attacks will trigger additional Electric damage. Enemies that are machine-types will be stunned and unable to move.
- Characters with this element: Alexandrina Sebastiane, Grace Howard, Anby Demara, and Anton Ivanov
B-Tier
These are pretty solid! They won’t help you much if you want to progress in the game, but they’re great to get you started.
- Fire (Burn) – Deals Fire damage. Enemies that are Organic-Type will be stunned and unable to move.
- Characters with this element: Luciana de Montefio, Koleda Belobog, Soldier 11, and Ben Bigger
- Physical (Assault) – Deal heavy physical damage.
- (Armor Break) – Reduce the target’s Physical Damage Resistance for a small amount of time.
- Characters with this element: Billy Kid, Piper Wheel, Corin Wickes, and Nekomiya Mana
C-Tier
This is where things go a little downhill… Although these offer a few perks, they aren’t great overall.
- Ether (Corruption) – Attacks will create additional Ether damage.
- Characters with this element: Zhy Yuan and Nicole Demara
D-Tier
These are the worst in the game… try to avoid them if you can.
- Luckily, nothing is here yet!
