A New Fantasy RPG
Alter Age presents you with a world where you’re not just stuck being an adult or a kid, but you can flip between the two to tackle the challenges the game throws at you. Arga, the protagonist, is on a mission to outshine his dad, who is the so-called Strongest Man in the World.
Along his journey, Arga unlocks a pretty rad skill called ‘Soul Alter,’ which lets him and his companions switch between their adult and child forms. So, one moment he’s a grown warrior, the next he’s a scrappy kid.
The game is set in an expansive, beautifully pixelated universe that you can explore. From puzzle-filled dungeons to hidden detours, there’s so much to see and do. You also get to gather ingredients on your travels to whip up some delicious meals.
The gameplay has mostly turn-based battles. The variety of formations, equipment and passive skills means you can strategise your way through battles like a pro. On the fun side, there are special quests that you can only complete only as a kid.
