The First Descendant Classes Tier List

Before we get into it, it’s important to know about the three main classes in The First Descendant. There are three altogether, which are: Support, DPS, and Tank. Each main class then has different subclasses.

The Support class is there to help out your teammates and… well, support them! The DPS class is all about dealing damage, and the Tank class uses a mix of both damage and defence in battle.

Now that’s out of the way, let’s rank each of the different classes in the game. If you would like more detail about the classes, and which characters are in each, we have a The First Descendant Classes Guide you can check out.

S-Tier

These classes are the best of the best!

  • Tank (Main class)
  • Nuker (Subclass to DMG)

A-Tier

If you can’t get your hands on S-Tier classes yet, these are still great!

  • DPS (Main Class)
  • Damage Over Time/DoT (Subclass to DMG)
  • Utility (Subclass to DMG)
  • Healer (Subclass to Support)
  • Debuffer (Subclass to Support)

B-Tier

If you’re a beginner, these classes will be useful while you’re getting the hang of things.

  • Support – (Main Class)
  • Bruiser (Subclass to Tank)
  • Standard Support (Subclass to Support)
  • Utility (Subclass to DMG)

C-Tier

Although these classes offer a few perks… they aren’t great overall. If you want to progress in the game, make sure you try and get classes in a higher tier as soon as you can.

  • Standard DPS (Subclass to DMG)
  • Burst DPS (Subclass to DMG)

D-Tier

Avoid these if you can, they won’t be of much use.

  • Luckily, there is nothing here yet! Let’s hope it stays that way too.
