Here’s a Hansen hack: Boost the flavor of pre-made cinnamon rolls with a bit of orange, cream and cinnamon and brown sugar. This will get your brunch on the table that much quicker and easier and still gives these orange cinnamon rolls a homemade touch!
Ingredients
- 8 rolls from 1 Package Rhodes Frozen Cinnamon Rolls
- 1/2 stick butter melted
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 Tbsp orange juice
- Zest of one orange
Instructions
- Take 8 rolls and place in a 9 x 13 glass pan and refrigerate overnight covered with saran wrap sprayed with cooking spray
- Preheat oven to 350
- Remove the saran wrap and pour 2/3 cups cream over the rolls
- Combine melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and orange juice and pour over the cream-covered rolls
- Grate orange zest over the top of the rolls with a microplane grater.
- Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes.
- Frost with the frosting packet that comes with the rolls or make a powdered sugar and cream frosting and frost.
- Top with a final zesting of orange.
