Dear Disney…we have something to say.
It’s not every day that we feel the need to write to you, but you’ve done something that has us pretty sad, and we can’t NOT bring it to your attention. Now, this isn’t the first time this type of thing has happened (we will forever remember the Wendell’s Bear Claw that is no more). We’ve seen some great menu items get taken away before. We get it; you have to change up your menus occasionally to keep things fresh, but there’s one food item that we thought was non-negotiable, and yet, here we are, having this conversation (which we did NOT want to have).
So we’ll preface this by reminding you how excited we were when we first saw the Loaded Burnt Ends Fries at Regal Eagle Smokehouse in the American Adventure in EPCOT. Sam the Eagle himself would appreciate this delicious snack that also doubles as a meal. What’s not to love when you combine Seasoned French Fries with Burnt Ends, Macaroni & Cheese, and Beer-battered Onion Rings? This was literally the best combo of things EVER.
Loaded Burnt End Fries
To say that we were in love was an understatement. These fries were SO good, and the mac ‘n cheese balanced out their saltiness. Then there was the meat, and we could not imagine anything more perfect. To quote Taylor Swift, “Who are we to fight The Alchemy?” PERFECTION, Disney, it was within your grasp!
These are loaded!
Alas, though, Disney did the one thing that broke our hearts. The Loaded Burnt End Fries disappeared from the menu at Regal Eagle, and we haven’t seen them since — and believe us, we’ve been checking EVERY DAY. It’s not just us, though, either. A lot of our readers also want to know why this beloved menu item has disappeared and would like to see it return.

So, what do we have to do to convince Disney to bring this yummy snack back? Who do we have to speak to? Do we need to do a song or dance? We’ll happily pull out our old ’90s dance moves and recreate “I 2 I” from The Goofy Movie in public. We mean, it won’t be pretty, but we’d do it if you would just bring back our beloved loaded fries.
Please? Pretty please? Pretty please with a cherry on top?
