This strawberry salsa is a unique spin on the classic salsa that’s great on chips, chicken or fish tacos. Pair it with a kiwi margarita and serve alongside chips and blender salsa as well. If you dislike cilantro, substitute with mint and it’s just as delicious!
Ingredients
- 1 pint of strawberries, hulled and diced into 1/4-1/2 inch pieces
- 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped fine
- 1/3 cup small red onion, chopped into a small-medium dice
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro (or substitute mint)
- 1 lime zested and juiced
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon Tajin
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, add the strawberries, jalapeño, onion, and cilantro.
- Stir in the zest and lime juice, honey, salt and Tajin. Let sit for 30 minutes before serving.
