Whenever I serve maple bacon, everyone always asks what I did to make it so amazing. Lucky for all of you, maple bacon is a super-simple recipe that calls for just three ingredients, but it takes this brunch staple to a new level for a special occasion or an amped up BLT anytime.
Tips for Making Bacon in the Oven
- Baking at a lower temperature over a longer period of time prevents the bacon from curling, which results in a nicer presentation if you’re serving this for a party or brunch.
- You could add your favorite spices to this recipe. If you’re going for something a little spicier, try my other oven bacon recipe: spicy candied pepper bacon!
- Line your broiler pan or sheet pan with aluminum foil to ensure a quick and easy clean up.
- You can take the time to brush each strip of bacon with the glaze, or you could just drizzle it. I prefer mine to be uniform, so I use a silicone brush.
