A huge celebrity has been spotted in Disneyland!

Every day is special when you’re in a Disney theme park, but today was extra exciting because there was a one-day-only cavalcade in Disneyland to celebrate the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory at Super Bowl LVIII. The star of the show was none other than three-time Super Bowl MVP and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes!
The iconic Disney Super Bowl tradition was continued at this year’s event when Patrick Mahomes was asked, “You and the Kansas City Chiefs just won the Super Bowl. What are you going to do next?” Mahomes and his family answered, “We’re going to Disneyland!”

We arrived at Disneyland Park a couple of hours early on February 12th to see the special cavalcade. It started with “it’s a small world” and went all the way down Main Street, U.S.A. Crowds were lined up well in advance to see the parade.

Right at the center of the cavalcade was the star himself, Patrick Mahomes! He was joined by Mickey and Minnie.

This is the third time Mahomes has won Super Bowl MVP, and it’s the third time he’s gone to a Disney park to celebrate!

Fans have been wondering if Chiefs player Travis Kelce might come for the parade as well and whether he might bring Taylor Swift, too! Unfortunately, we didn’t see either celeb at the parade.

However, we know that the Kelces are Disney fans (Jason Kelce even shared his favorite Magic Kingdom snack recently after his family took a trip to the parks!), so it’s possible that we’ll see Travis and Taylor there sometime in the future. We can hope!

This isn’t the only time Disney brings in special guests to celebrate big occasions. Earlier this month, we spotted Michael James-Scott (who played Genie in Aladdin on Broadway) leading Magic Kingdom’s Festival of Fantasy Parade as the honorary grand marshal! He was invited to celebrate Black History Month in the park.
