Yep, we’re talking about warning signs that there could be BIG crowds soon. February is what many take for a slower season at Disney World, inspiring an influx in tour groups, field trips, and sports groups. This weekend marks no exception, as a big competition is happening in Orlando!
The UCA Cheer Competition kicks off on February February 9th, 2024, and will continue until February 12th. Cheer teams from all over the country will flock to Disney World to compete, and the cheerleaders and their families tend to spend a lot of time in the parks for some R&R!

The 4-day championship will take place at the ESPN Wide World Of Sports Complex, so you can probably expect to see some extra traffic over there, as well.

Alongside the competition at the Wide World of Sports Complex, competitors will be able to experience extended evening hours at Magic Kingdom on Friday, February 9th, with a private celebration party occurring at Hollywood Studios on Sunday, February 11th.

With such a huge event occurring, we can expect to see an uptick in park and hotel crowds this weekend.
