NEWS: Magic Kingdom Park Passes Are Completely SOLD OUT for Annual Passholders Today!

A LOT changed in Disney World this week and our heads are still REELING.

Magic Kingdom

Okay, so first, we saw the Disney Dining Plan return (and, yes, it’s a little different now). We also saw all-day park hopping come back to Disney World. We even saw the end of Park Pass Reservations for most Disney World guests, although that doesn’t include Annual Passholders. Well, Passholders, we’ve got a bit of bad news to share about Magic Kingdom today.

So you may know that Disney World Annual Passholders are still required to make Park Pass Reservations, except for days that Disney deems as “good-to-go.” Well, today, January 12th, is NOT one of those days, so Park Pass Reservations are required for Annual Passholders — and we just noticed that Magic Kingdom is completely SOLD OUT for the day for those with an IncrediPass and Sorcerer Pass (the other two tiers of Annual Passholders are already blocked out).

Now, note that Annual Passholders do NOT need Park Pass Reservations if they wait until 2PM to visit the parks. However, Annual Passholders can also park hop all day with everyone else, so they could potentially make a reservation for a park other than Magic Kingdom and then park hop to Magic Kingdom later.

Animal Kingdom

We also checked the price of Genie+ for the day. Genie+ costs $25 today for Magic Kingdom and Multiple Parks, $18 for EPCOT, $22 for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and $16 for Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This is up from January 12th’s price, which saw Magic Kingdom and Multiple Parks priced at $23, but it’s lower than last week’s prices, which went up as high as $27.

So, if you’re an Annual Passholdere planning to visit a park before heading over to Magic Kingdom today, please keep that in mind. We’ll continue to keep an eye on things, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
